System update - Nov 29 2016

Check out the updated cloned forms info

To help you manage your forms creations, we have edited the information displayed on the form to now show the name of the person who cloned the form, instead of the name of the original form builder name. The date of creation has also been updated to show the date when the form was cloned.

You can see it when clicking on the form name in the Your active forms tab (creator and date created).

And at the top of the form editor when in edit mode.

Mobile Update - September 28th 2016 - Self-sends on Mobile now!

Self-sends now available from the one45 mobile app

Following up on our recent self-send upgrades through our web interface, today we’re happy to announce that we’ve added self-sends functionality to the mobile app. Your faculty, residents, and students can now use the mobile app to initiate and complete self-send forms for workflows such as DOPS, Mini-CEX, Field Notes and Daily Cards.
When you log into the app, if you have any self-sends to complete, you will see a new menu item called “Forms To Send” on the To Dos page.
The app follows the same conventions as the web interface. You start by choosing the form you wish to initiate.
Once you’ve chosen the correct form, you are guided through a set of options to choose the relevant rotation and dates.
From there, you choose the right person and then submit the form to initiate the assessment.
If you’re initiating an assessment for someone else to complete about you, they will get a To Do that they can complete on the mobile app on their device, or through the web-interface.

Bonus fix: The mobile app now does a better job of remembering who you are

One of the nice things about the mobile app is that you don’t have to log in every single time you go to use it - the app remembers who you are each time you launch it and takes you directly to your To Dos. There have been a few cases where the app forgot your credentials sooner than it should have, forcing you to log in more often. That issue has been addressed, and now you should only have to re-enter your credentials if you haven’t used the app for 2 weeks.

System update - Releasable reports for Bird's eye groups September 28th

Interdepartmental faculty assessment reports

We are pleased to announce some big improvements to our releasable reports of faculty performance. If your institution uses a standardized form for assessing faculty, you can now run a single report that will give you a picture of faculty performance across all of your programs.
The updates are found when you go to Reports > Releasable Reports > Evaluation Reports in a birds-eye group.
A birds-eye group is a group in one45 that encompasses one or more sub groups. For example, in an Undergrad context, you might have a year3 birds-eye group for all of your specialty specific year 3 groups.
You initiate a new releasable report as you always have, and there are some new options in the define criteria step.

1 - Choosing programs to report on

The first change is that when you’re choosing a program to report from, you can now choose multiple programs at once, instead of being limited to reporting on a single program at a time.
The report will pull in data from forms sent from all of the programs you select. If you select the birds-eye group itself, the report will pull in data from forms sent from the birds-eye group.

2 - Including program comparisons

The next update is the Include comparison columns for each of the programs selected on the left option. If you choose yes, then the report will add a column to the report for each program you’ve selected. The additional program columns provides an overall average for all faculty assessed by forms sent from those programs.

3 - Including overall comparison

We’ve updated the language for the Include an overall comparison column for all programs option. If you choose yes for this option, the report will add a column to the report that includes an overall average for all of the faculty, assessed by all of the child programs of the birds-eye group.
Note: This average includes data from all of the programs, not just the ones you’ve selected on the left.

4 - Choose form to report on

We made a small change here to alphabetize the list of forms to make it easier to find the form you want to report against.

System Updates - New Event section in the mobile app - September 12th 2016

NOTE: All of the names shown here are fake, and safe to share

New Event section in the mobile app!

The requests have been pouring in, and we’ve added the ability to view your one45 events in our mobile app! Now your users can all view their curriculum, rotation, and academic session events right in the mobile app. To view this new feature, users will need to update to the latest version of the app in their app store.
There is a new tab in the mobile app that allows users to view their past and upcoming events. Simply select the calendar icon from the menu bar to view the page. This new page also has a drop down selector to let you toggle between upcoming and past events.
Simply tap on an event to view more details, including the event’s location, description, facilitators, and group.
Use the arrow in the upper left hand corner to navigate back to the main itinerary page to view more events.

System updates - Self sends revamped August 18th 2016

Check out our big updates to self-sends!

Programs using DOPS, Mini-CEX, Field Notes, Daily Cards or other workplace-based assessments in their practice are going to love this update. We’ve made a number of changes to our “self-send” tools that make it easier to launch new assessments, and harder to make mistakes.
There is a new section on the To Dos page that lists all of the self-send forms that a person can initiate.
When you choose the right form you now get guided through a set of options to choose the relevant rotation, and dates.
From there, choose the right person and then submit the form to initiate the assessment (Note that we’ve added a small photo of the person you’ve picked, if available to help you pick the right person).
We’ve also made an improvement by giving you a warning if the person you’ve picked isn’t scheduled in the event you picked for the date(s) you picked. We’ve also restricted the tool so that learners can’t choose dates that fall outside of their scheduled dates.

One more small (but big!) change - we’ve eliminated the unnecessary confirmation step - once you hit the Send form button, you’re done!

System Update: New tool for providing feedback about the one45 mobile app

We’ve been blown away by the response to our new mobile app.  Nearly 2,000 people have already used our new mobile app to complete more than 1,500 assessments.
It’s difficult sometimes for faculty, residents, and students to give feedback, or report issues on an app. Unlike our web app, it can be hard for program or site administrators to work with a learner or faculty member to diagnose a problem on the mobile app so we’ve been thinking about how to make that process easier.
Today we’re announcing a new feature in the app which allows your faculty, residents, and students to send us feedback about their experience with app. The new feature is available under the “Leave feedback” menu on the “Me” tab in the app.
It only takes a second to share your feedback, so please do!

System update April 20th 2016

Check out what we've released!

We have added an option to get more results from your curriculum search.

Before, when you searched a generic term associated with your curriculum, you might have obtained more than 1000 results and the system wouldn't display them.

You now have an option to search for up to 15000 results!

Check off the box to "allow more results" and click on "search" again.

The only caveat is that it may take significantly longer to get the results.

System update March 15th 2016

Check out what we've released this week!

If you have the one45 permission to use the Competency reports, you will see a change for head forms options.

Previously, in groups that had head evaluator forms, there were two options for reporting on evaluation data in a competency report:

If your group had head evaluators for only some of the rotations,  you couldn't report on all of your data together in one report.

Now you can!

These options have now been removed and the logic has now been updated so that:

  • if it is a normal form (no head form), it will be counted in the report
  • if it is a head evaluator form, it will be counted in the report
  • if it is a contributing form (i.e. has an associated head form), then it won’t be counted in the report

We hope you like the update!

System Update, March 9th 2016

Check out what we've released this week!

If you have the one45 permission to report on Logs and use Log Exports, you will see a change in the log export options.

Before, there were options to include the rotation and site name in the report, which resulted in an extra column called rotation/site name being added to the report, as well as an option to show the results regardless of rotation. When the two items were chosen together, the rotation column was added, but was blank.

Now, we have updated it so that the rotation column is no longer an option but is always included in the report, and the show
regardless of rotation option has been renamed to “Show results from this log across all groups (will not show the “Rotation Name” column)

Our status page provides a single, centralized channel to clearly communicate the state of our services. With this page, we endeavour to communicate:

System Update: Auto-login page access measures to be put in place

The one45 team is happy to announce that we are completing the final phase of limiting access to pages in our recently updated auto-login functionality.

Note: This functionality only affects schools that have auto-login links enabled.

After extensive review over the past couple of months we have finalized the pages that users should be able to access when logged into a limited auto-login session.

This means any areas of the system that should not be accessed through the limited session will be prohibited.  If a user attempts to access a non-authorized page they will be presented with a message indicating they don't have access and will be provided with a link to return them to their limited eDossier session.

This update will be rolled out over the next week and is scheduled to be completed by Friday February 19th.

System Update, Jan 6th 2016

Check out what we've released this week!

If you have the access to view low performance flagging at your institution, you will now be able to view the details of the forms flagged.

We have added the Form Hound ('paw') directly into the Active, Archived and Deleted Flags tabs so that not only you can view the flagged evaluation, but also consult other details like who sent it, when, etc.

Isn't it pretty neat?!

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this new feature.
